  1. Job seekers training

1.1  The main theme

Find information on jobs and learning opportunities in Europe by using the http://europa.eu.int/eures/index.jsp (The European Job Mobility Portal) and http://cobiss.izum.si/scripts/cobiss?ukaz=getid&lang=win  (The common library – catalogue database in Slovenia); security of the internet system and e-bussines

1.2  Participants feedback

The participants showed high level of satisfaction. The majority of them found the duration of the training very short and suggested to prolong the time (e.g. four hours with 15 min pause). They also suggested that trainings should include more practical work in order to excerise the new knowlegde and were very thankful for possibility to attending such kind of training.

1.3  The teachers opinion

We found the model very useful and also thought about the possibilty to prolong the duration of the training. The level of participants knowledge was differently although the group was selected on the unified specifications (they have all finished the university and known how to use the internet system). We have to be more precise in getting the target group in advance. We don’t think this is the matter of the model, we have got, it’s the matter of the teacher who needs to evaluate which levels of the explanation he/she should use.

  1. Older library users training

 2.1  The main theme

Use the internet system, web search engine  http://www.najdi.si/   to be exact, and http://cobiss.izum.si/scripts/cobiss?ukaz=getid&lang=win  (The common library – catalogue database in Slovenia) to find some useful information for planning the trips or holidays.

        2.2  Participants feedback

The participants were very satisfied with realization of the training. The questionnaires they fullfiled showed high level of satisfaction, especially with practice work they were able to do. Annotations they had, regarded on time of realization, which was also by their opinion too short. They were very thankful for possibility of such kind of training.

        2.3  The teachers opinion

We had this type of education also before, but the realization of it was very different considering the time of training. By our opinion the time of the training is problematic, because the participants could not follow such extensible quantity of information. We suggest that the model of training contents more hours for library users training, but every training should last less time then two hours. Considering concentration of participants we notice that shorter time of every training causes better remembering of learned information. The knowledge of each participant was very different so probably would be better to think over about separated groups of training users, for example those who have some knowledge about computer and those who don’t have any.  Generally the model is very good and useful with some improvements in direction we suggested.

  1. Children of minority training

 3.1  The main theme

Presentation of the library, taking the quiz on library home page http://www.lj-oz.sik.si/kviz/main.html and making an electronic version of pictures of the dragon (the symbol of the city Ljubljana and also the theme from the quiz) the children have made at home.

3.2  Participants feedback

The participants really enjoyed the training and found that kind of trainings very useful.

3.3  The teachers opinion

The model was very good accepted and we did everything as we planned. We are satisfied with our work.
